Hi Dorothy,
Just wondering what the name of the dahlia is in pic 4 please? I have the same one just flowering in my garden now but I don’t know her name.
Stunning photography by the way ♥️
Wow…stunning images, Dorothy! Your macro approach helps me to pause and more fully appreciate God’s great creation. Thank you!
Sharon, I could have spent hours in this little community garden. Indeed it was gorgeous. Thanks for visiting.
Catch-your-breath loveliness, Dorothy. But the point of view you take is a real eye-opener, too. How else would we notice that the backside of a cherry tomato vine looks like a climbing critter with sticky-pod feet? I love borage — the plant crushed into the wine cups of Crusaders for courage before they set off on their mission to Jerusalem. We dip the blue-star blossoms in beaten egg whites then sugar to decorate summer birthday cakes. My favourite — it’s so hard to choose among luscious petalled cushiony blossoms — is the miniature petal within the water droplet that reprises the entire spectrum of oranges in the glorious background flower petal. It could carry me through a long winter. May you be filled and sated with God’s bounty.
Thank you for taking the time to absorb the images and for “seeing” what I’m doing. Blessings.
