It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted anything original here. I’m just a week away from finishing my first book and I need your help. The publishing house recently let me know that they are not head over heels in like with my title. I know there are lots of creative people out there. (Including at the pub house. I’m sure they don’t need my help but I thought this would be a fun way to get others involved.)

Here’s the premise of the book: “What differentiates a dynamic, joyful marriage from a disappointing, frustrating one is our willingness and commitment to be changed, to say yes to God’s transforming work, and to become increasingly holy with each passing year.” Essentially, I’m writing about how marriage changes us. What that change looks like will depend upon how much we want to grow and become more like Christ.

My title is Beautiful Change: How the Gospel Transforms Marriage. They did say that if I could come up with a better sub-head, they might consider keeping Beautiful Change. The book is for both men and women so the title has to reflect that and strongly communicate the idea of change or transformation in the context of marriage.
