Though it felt like I spent my entire year writing my first book, I did in fact manage to crank out some articles and posts. The following five pieces are my favorites. Enjoy!
- 88 Meals and the Meaning of Friendship. Written as a guest post for my friend Cara Meredith’s site, Be Mama. Be, on the blessings of long-term friendships.
- I had two articles on Gifted for Leadership’s Top 10 but the one I liked most was this one: Teach Your Entire Church to Welcome Visitors. The only way I could write the piece was by covering my experiences with an generous dose of humor.
- Another friend, Aubrey Sampson, asked me to do a guest post on shame. I have no idea why she asked. 🙂 Anyway, I read lots of books and hypothesized what it might feel like to experience shame. The title? Overcoming Shame by Telling the Truth.
- Over at Today’s Christian Woman, where I’m a regular contributor, this article was also on their top 10 list for the year. It’s the premise of the book I’m finishing up for David C. Cook, so I’d LOVE to hear your thoughts on it. You Can’t Change Your Spouse.
- Finally, one more from TCW: It’s God’s Job to Be Perfect—Not Yours.
Once this manuscript gets sent off to the publisher (Jan. 8!!), I hope to be posting more frequently.
I love reading your comments so please keep talking to me.
Best wishes for 2016!
