It’s another cold and grey New England day.
Normally at this time of the year,
I pack up my camera gear and head to the local orchards to work on this project.
After an epic winter, I’m still waiting for any signs of spring.
I believe that spring will come
because, like the morning sun, it always does.
So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord! (Ps. 31)
Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone. (Ps. 33)
When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. (Ps. 94)
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad?* I will put my hope in God! (Ps. 42)
(*Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it’s still snowing and it’s mid April?)
Lord, sustain me as you promised, that I may live! Do not let my hope be crushed. (Ps. 119)
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen;
it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. (Heb. 11)

Beautiful! May new opportunities to add more blossoms to this project come SOON!
It’s finally here! And with it the colors, warmth, and smells of spring.
